You will move out for the sight-seeing of Delhi. Move to visit OLD DELHI - A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India, enjoy rickshaw ride in ally of Chandni Chowk.
Evening visit to NEW DELHI - An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Birla Temple, Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Till the time of the Light and Sound Show programme walk past the roads of the market. At the scheduled time come to the Red Fort again and enjoy the Light and sound show which dramatically enacts the history of Delhi. After leisurely breakfast, our representative will drive you to the Pink City, Jaipur. En-route you visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital city of Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is a world heritage site. Here we will visit the Bulund Darwaza (The Gate of Victory), which is said to be the tallest gateway in the world. In the northern part of the courtyard is the superb white marble tomb of the famous Sufi saint - Shekh Salim Chishti The architecture is worth viewing.
Upon arrival in Jaipur, the representative will assist your checking in at your pre booked hotel. You take rest at the hotel. Late evevining, you just roam around the city, a rickshaw ride will be best for you. Visit the markets and pick up souvenirs. Early morning you will explore Amber Fort which is located 12 kms outside Jaipur. The original Palace was built by Raja Mansingh and later additions were made by Sawai Jai Singh. One of the finest example of Rajput architecture, it was the ancient capital of Kachhawa rulers. Enjoy the ascent to the palace on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant. The romance and spirit of the city can be felt when you walk past the roads of the pink city. You have less time today. So, visit the City palace and its museum, Hawa Mahal, the astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar built by the Sawai Man Singh II.
The monuments are built from pink sandstone, so Jaipur is called the pink city. From telephone booths to royal forts, you will see everywhere pink beauty.
